Arts + Activism Youth Camp
Our camp with a conscience - a weeklong gathering of goodness!
Service Description
Kids P3-P7 will learn to express themselves through illustration, painting, writing and performing arts. Amongst the creativity, campers will be introduced to the idea of activism as they champion a variety of causes including Pollution/Community Care, Mind and Body Wellness, Habitat Heroes, "Food" for Thought, and a group choice for our last day! ​ The camp will run for 3 hours as follows: 1.5 hours of education, practice, and learning games - 30 minutes of snack and play - 1 hour of work towards a special take home project (Call To Action Posters, Canvas Paintings, Comic Books, Songs/Poems, etc.) Please bring a nut-free snack, water bottle and wear clothes suitable for art-making!
